As you approach Room 203, you notice something on the floor. Will you pick it up?

Well, it's practically an instinct to pick up anything that could be useful. Let's have a look here...

 

You bend down to pick it up. It seems to be a scrap of paper, but it's covered in blood. As you start to read it, you notice it's a page out of Paul Langford's diary.

Paul Langford Dairy Entry #2

Jesus christ.

Jesus ******* christ!

Man, if I believed in a god right now - I'd be on my knees and praying. First day of work, and I finally know why the **** I'm in the middle of nowhere, in some godamned underground complex. UNKNOWNS. What the actual **** is this shit?! I didn't sign up to work in the same building as those monsters and freaks! One of the women wanted to lodge a formal complaint. She just went into the administration office earlier, it's been hours since anyone has seen her. Why do I get the feeling she ain't coming back? Fuuuuuck.

At least my job is simple. Apparently new guys like me only stick to the "Working Class" floors, that people like me live on. I heard the higher ups and the scientists have their own separate block for living in. What a ******* joke. At least I'm only cleaning up 3 floors of bullshit instead of fifty or whatever the **** the actual number is. I get access to all the doors on these floors as well. I'm one of the few people who live here who actually own a LVL1 Keycard. Well, it's ******* handy, that's for sure. It only works on these three floors, though.

I also had my first drill, today. Apparently throughout the complex there are "Safe Rooms" that will hide you from Unknowns. I don't really know how it works, but every living space is one. On the main floor - the Cafeteria is one, one the floor below that - the Gym, and then the last floor actually has an evacuation point. I'm really thinking about quitting this job, but the rumors are really putting me off from sticking my neck out. I'm just gonna have to try and be a model employee, I suppose.

If anything, the diary gave you a better sense of the layout of this entire cube. You scrunched the paper up into a ball and threw it down the hallway before proceeding into Room 203. Again, it appears to have the same set up as the other two.

What will you search? The Desk, bed, or wardrobe?

I open up the wardrobe.

 

Inside, you see a singular white tank top. The breeze from outside blows over you once more, as if to remind you that you're still shirtless.

What will you do now?

Is there anything hiding under the bed?

Edit: Also, maybe consider putting on the tank top too

 

You forget the tank top for a moment - Umbra is still holding on to you - and get on your knees to take a look under the bed. You find a set of keys. You find it odd that something so antiquated would be here - everything needs a key card to open these days.

"Hey Umbles, would you like a new shirt?" I ask.

 

Umbra giggles. "I have a dress on, silly~"

"I didn't know that, can't look at you, remember?" I chuckle a little. "Bet it's a nice nice, you do seem to have..." I pick myself up and pretend to flex an arm. "Nice taste."

 

(Let's not forget the Mystery Keys in our inventory! Alright though, I think I'm all set for now, I'm gonna take care of some other stuff for the time being, and when I come back to this I've definitely gotta review the Diary entries.)

 

Umbra laughs wholeheartedly. You've never heard a laugh so full of joy before. It makes you feel warm, and you find yourself smiling from ear to ear. You grab the tank top from the wardrobe and pull it over you head. You look down at yourself. Smears and smudges of blood adorn the tank top, fresh from your blood soaked hand. It was a beautiful contrast. You wiped off the rest of the blood off on your front.

What will you do now?
