Honestly, this chapter felt a bit over the shot. Thought we were done with the flashback then it jumped back for like half or more of it then jumped into current again. ._. LOL. I think now it's safe to say that she ate them, and that is how she gained Mother Caramel's Devil Fruit power too. Sorta wondering what that guy's endgame is, I mean, was he intending to use her for his own gain but now things have changed? Seems to legit care for her now. Also, plan backfired as expected. Seemed too easy for it to work out. Nice to see that the mirror broke, but seems like they'll escape one way or another? Idk. Okay chapter, albeit somewhat annoyed that it didn't really get anywhere, but at least it'll finally progress forward now that it should stay in the current time and reactions and shit are cleared up for the most part.

 

Did not really a lot happening and it being in the past again for half of it not overly bother you? Like, it was like present -> past -> preset -> past -> preset, just a mix. It was good for explanations sake, though.

 

I mean, it is good that it clarified what happened even though it was so-so, but I meant the backstory with that random dude thrown in. Now he's like important to her.

That's not what I meant, but rather I felt like it was finally done last chapter then this chapter after going to the present. -_-

I thought he had no involvement outside of witnessing it, but you may be onto something.

 

Yeah, but I had assumed with the way he was talking that he wasn't involved. But I guess if he was watching for ages and knew how she was, it makes more sense then her randomly eating them and him wanting to use her at random, but him orchestrating the whole thing.
