Wuxia Novels Mega thread

Till we get forum restructure and proper novel section is there with tags.

What is Wuxia and Xianxia?
Both refer to genre used in chinese media, from movies to novels to games.
Wuxia literally translates to "martial hero", it's stories of supernatural martial artists, but still within some reason. A wuxia hero might run on walls, leap over buildings or fight numerous opponents alone.

Xianxia translates to "immortal hero", and is something of an extrapolation of the wuxia genre with influences of old daoist practices regarding reaching immortality through meditation and elixirs. Standard concepts here include immortality, flying, magic treasures and such.

A wuxia hero might split a boulder or carve poetry into a mountain wall. A Xianxia hero might split a city or carve their consciousness into spacetime.


Basically chinese novels,Manhua and stuff.

RoTK you can call it old wuxia I suppose which is more or less Martial artists within mortal limits.

While novels etc are mostly XianXia jizz - Immortals and fantasy based

 

I ended up watching The Kings Avatar (And plan to start reading it when I get the time) but I'd love for a series or two that are similar enough to read as well.
