I check in the corners of the study, looking for anything heavy that may have been moved recently, thinking of secret compartments.

 

As you finished checking the corners of the study, you figured it wouldn't hurt to check all the furniture for any signs of movement as well. As you walked back to your desk, you notice - almost immediately - that the small cabinet sitting off the side was out of place. There was a clear indentation in the carpet from where it used to be. You moved the cabinet to the side.

You're pretty certain you've found everything in this room now. You remember that you hadn't checked everything out in the kitchen yet - and probably should before you checked the main room.

In that case i decide to go back to the kitchen

 

You take a glance around the kitchen once more. The chest freezer was untouched.

I head over to the freezer chest and open it up ready to take a look inside

 

Inside, there was stacks of frozen meat. You wondered if you were able to eat this if you grilled it or cooked it. It was worth a try later, so you lifted the nearest slab and dropped it onto the nearby counter. When you turned to close the chest freezer, you saw another scrap of paper - no doubt hidden under the slab of meat you just took out. Now you started to get angry, if only a little. Just how much of this was planned out anyway?

I shift around other objects in the freezer, hoping to uncover anything more.

 

You took another look around inside of the chest freezer, wondering if there was anything left inside here. Other then copious amounts of meat, there was nothing.

I try to find any slimmer meats, such as bacon, hoping to slip them under the door to the bedroom Umbra was dancing around in.

 

You tried to find something smaller, but all that was packed inside were large slabs. You'd have to go into the main room eventually anyway.

It's time to head back to the main room maybe umbra can help

 

Closing the kitchen door, you go back out into the hallway. You can clearly hear the Umbra and the film that was currently playing.

"I'm siiiinging in the raiinnn~"

You were reluctant at first, but pushed yourself to go into the room regardless. Whatever was happening - or had happened - may not have been Umbra's fault. It would be bad of you to act badly around her for that reason.

"Ah! Your horns have really grown!"

You looked at the floor to avoid accidentally looking directly at her.

There was a slight pause before she finally said something. "Psshht, what even IS that?"

You sigh and slide the photo back into you pocket. You wish that you could have seen her reaction.
