Yes I see how dumb she is, and that's partially why I'm town reading her. Mafia would not continuously be this dumb, especially after just narrowly escaping the lynch last phase. Her teammates would not allow this either Imo.

Even if he/she "deserves" to be lynched IYO, it's not currently the optimal move, nor does it dispel major things we have been exposed to at the current moment. It creates a seperate dialogue in which we take away focus from something else, and then have to repeat next phase, and start a new info train (look at you who switched this wagon if they flip town, look at me and others if they flip mafia, etc) all while the other things present from this phase remain ever present.

I'll also take dumb play over defensive, "**** it if you guys won't listen to me in a mafia game then I want to die" BS anyday.

 

@SK Other problems with this wagon.
If she's playing "dumb" (not in the sense of acting but describing her play as stupid) then it doesn't fit the narrative of nefarious play to confuse us. It would be reading as dumb townie makes dumb argument.


It also makes no sense for her to cause this confusion now if she is mafia. If Daoko is really town, then doing this now grants her no advantage other taking the heat from a townie to herself, something she and her teammates would obviously not like. Only scenario this makes sense is if Daoko is godfather.

So I ask you again to look at our scenario logically and not with emotion.

@Dr. White I see what you are trying to say. But just cause she is acting dumb does not mean she is necessarily townie. Maybe she is doing this in purpose in hopes of getting reactions like yours and town read her and she can escape the sus list. I played with her when she was townie and she was my greenest read during that game and was leaps and beyond better than this. She did not only play dumb white, she put lies into my mouth as well trying to throw mud at me? she is hella scummy. But I will think about it, currently my vote will stay on her gonna take a break and come back and see what is best to be done.

The bolded and italicized is not going to happen. It's also irrelevant in light of the optimal play that has been building up all phase. The fact of the matter is that this little side step is detrimental to town. There is less info to be gained, and more distractions to be incurred from this, then benefits. We can always come back to crisp, but right now it's an isolated incident compared to a Crimson, or Daoko wagon which will give us results/info, and a possible combo with cop. What you've done now is just further hamper majority (which you were adamant about not doing until you became upset with crisp), and possibly let your emotions (since she is specifically coming at you) take away some prime leads.

I think she's "being dumb" as coming out and doing this now offers her no benefit if she is the scum and town daoko is about to be lynched. It reads more as her trying to win the argument with you and possibly due scumhunting herself, with albeit bad arguments, and when she realized it was going nowhere attempted to drop it, which in of itself could be read as scummy, but Imo lower odds in this context.

Ok, but all this "scumhunting" you're doing is reactive, and you've done little proactively without being called out on it. Combine this with an unprompted vanilla claim (before you had major heat) and being completely absent dp1, and....

I already agreed Crimson is scum lean for me and that dealing with the miller is also optimal. Unfortunately for you, Pou's theory has opened an avenue for some major information along with town's abilities, and seeing as you're a generic, it's kinda our best info grabber now. Cause even if we do lynch Crimson this phase, the whole miller claim aspect can be used to blurry any info from the wagons formed on him, where as if you flip town and Pou comes back red tomorrow, that gives us good info on prada most likely telling the truth and pou being scum and more reason to lynch Crimson as well. If you flip scum and we get Prada red on investigation then work backwards as well.

 

yes, my coming forward with the idea of a town alliance and bouncing that off multiple people is me doing 'very little proactively' seems legit

Town should always be allied, and if you're talking about the idea that got floated around of the "invincible" doctor-cop thing, then no that wasn't realyl to bright of a suggestion.

I didn't see that you confirmed it was a joke, rather someone brought it up as a possibility. I'd rather not lynch a power role to solely gain info. So kinda not something to joke about, because now we're in a pretty awkward position of possibly lynching a power role for info possibly provided by a scum which is a much worse trade off than scum for generic. Plus now even if you do come out as a power role, you are another prime target for mafia. But since you agreed with my assessment of lynching you I'm kinda confused.
