Well we are on thirstbase so the claim religious people need to stop shoving things down peoples throats is extremely ironic. Unfortunately feeling superior or better is the only logical conclusion to make. You don't have a religious book telling you to spread your message or something like that. Nice how you completely ignored answering what your objective is. I am sure you ( and I'm using you/your here as a general point to atheists) are smart enough to know being so rational and all ( funny how noble prize winners have and continue to believe in God but are so irrational) that a theist is very stubborn and wont change their minds. Please your trying to make yourself feel better because there is nothing else you can achieve. I couldn't care less about what you believe I just pointed out the fact that you are being a hypocrite (again you being a general term against certain atheists). Maybe I didn't answer the rest because I don't care? I happen to agree with the point that it is a theists job to prove that God exists. Don't worry I am not upset. I don't actually believe all atheists do it to make themselves feel better.
Anyway atheists and theists are different sides of the same coin. Maybe because I believe in God but can understand why people do not means I am capable of seeing it but the amount of dumb shit I have seen come out of both sides just makes me laugh. In my eyes the more ignorant one is the one who completely rejects the possible existence of God because to be quite frank you can never be 100% certain.

but you gotta love the old "can you disprove god?" when they can't answer a simple question and then get asshurt that we are questioning their god.

Not to hijack a chat and make it a debating stage, but being a philosophy nut the whole "disprove God" is valid if the atheist displays something more than agnosticism (mere suspense of judgement). It becomes then a claim to knowledge (X doesn't exist) just as the theist's claim (X does exist). The burden of proof is symmetrical in such cases.
