Assist is there to help,that's not skill...how can you call it skill if you get HELP it's like I pay someone to do something and claim I did it

A lot of players on console wanted turn it off, which is why blizzard added the feature to adjust how much aim assist is applied, you find aim assist comfortable some players don't.

 

OW is so boring...like nothing is happening and game modes are bad atm...

I don't play on both but it varies quite a bit from person to person. I have a number of friends that were GM or T500 on console and when they moved over to PC they ended up plat or diamond. Some of them have worked their way up closer to their console rank but most of them felt like they hit a wall on PC in masters or GM. Different balancing and different pacing, even if it is the same game so it's not surprising.

As for the whole aim assist thing... it's a pretty dumb discussion. Console FPS/TPS games need some level of AA otherwise it feels way too clunky. Some like it off. I'd probably place plat or diamond on console using a controller but I'd rather just plug a mouse and keyboard in. Even then I rather not, I like my 144hz and precise sensitivity I've got on certain heroes after much trial and error. For someone using a controller coming to PC, I think their potential can be higher just because you're using the right tool for the right job, but expect a grind in training your aim. Smooth accurate tracking and flick shots take practice and you need to build up muscle memory. Won't happen overnight, more like a good couple weeks to months.

But when I say my friends from Master/GM switched to PC and got Top 500, he ignores it.

Haven't haven't played ranked on pc but I have two friends who swapped to PC and one made it too 500 and the other climbed from play to high diamond.

 

It doesn't happen once in 1000 times you dunce. Three of my friends plus two pretty well known streamers went from console GM to PC GM.

It all just depends if you're comfortable with a mouse and keyboard or not. If you are, then climbing the PC ladder will be easy for you if you're a good player. You're skill won't go nowhere just because you used to use aim assist on console.


Stop thinking so highly of yourself just because you play on PC, you're in gold bro. You're not better than console golds.
