well the reasoning behind this if you watch the original trilogy first then see the prequels you won't feel as bored watching them because you would to know more about the story and the characters you've come to love.

I feel like it would also feel weird to watch the prequels and jump onto the original trilogy only to find there's been a downgrade in the cgi and graphics department.

the original trilogy is what made star wars what it is now plus you just said it yourself you're watching them in storyline order not in order

well it spoils something that happens to a character in the prequels and is later a plot twist in the original trilogy

 

Haven't seen any spoil as of now.All what's said that Kenobi trained Darth Vader which is described as a man who killed Luke's father.

 

isn't luke's father the protagonist of the prequels or is it someone else?
