Discussion Dragon Ball Super Episode 126

Damn Vegeta was amazing although i must admit that i would've loved for the fight to drag on for longer but i totally understand. Vegeta finally remembering that he's protecting his wife and kids gave me goosebumps. So much at stake there. Lol at Vegeta and Toppo throwing shade at each other, that was just great. Vegeta with his torn up clothes made me remember mastered UI goku. Also it makes more sense since his blast did more damage and his clothes are more torn up than goku's so fingers crossed?

 

The guy was all about justice from day 1 and once he felt like he couldn't win sacrificed everything he stood for in order to gain more power. In this case Jiren's reaction is totally justified, but man toppo and vegeta trading insults was amazing. feels more to me like a running gag now.

 

My only complaint was that I found Final Explosion unnecessary, since Vegeta was starting to dominate that fight, but oh well at least it looked cool and was a nice throw back to his final atonement in DBZ.

 

Gotta say i don't mind it one bit. Vegeta looks cool as hell topless.

 

i feel like he was glad that they've gotten this stronger on their own. I think he respects that.

 

I think toei could go ahead and make Jiren a villain even though i don't think it'll be the same for the manga but honestly i couldn't tell you how much i would hate that.Would be so generic imo but i wouldn't be surprised if toei heads in that direction

 

I don't think it's the same for Jiren. If the manga is anything to go by, we know Jiren didn't want to enter the tournament and destroy other universes to save his own hide, he only entered the tournament 'cause of the wish which i frankly think has something to do with the angels and zeno. I just think too highly of jiren for him to turn out being some lowlife thug. Enough, what they did to toppo as is. The way he embraced destruction so quickly was so out of character imo. It was handled so poorly.

 

yeah i feel as much too so many moments could've been better if they were given enough time to grow. Vegeta vs Toppo could've been easily been 2+ episodes. I feel as if we needed more fighting out of these both too. It ended so abruptly and we don't how vegeta suddenly gained the upper hand. Could've also given some time for Toppo's character development and how he starts to favor destruction over justice.

 

Since Vegeta defeated toppo, it's safe to assume that vegeta won't be taking the cake this time either. Hopefully, his send off is graceful and has another cool moment with jiren. I'm thinking maybe unlocks ultra instinct and that serves Goku well by him observing the form himself in order to master it, but maybe I'm reaching further than i should be.
