My usual choice of sub at Subway is aloo (potato) patty or black bean patty or peas patty. And I usually have spicy mustard plus spicy barbecue sauce.

Barbecue sauce in vegetarian sandwiches/burgers is surprisingly good. You should really give that a try.

Luckily, there was a spare bucket of water (albeit cold) in there. Used that and quickly ended the bath.

It's based off the comics but it doesn't fall into canonverse

That's like saying Teen Titans Go Trigon is how Trigon really is and the comics are wrong
