I am speaking from my experience as business travel agent now. These people are just assholes. Refusing to speak English even though they can. Even airline and hotel representatives, which shouldn't be the case as you'd expect some professionalism from such people. Waiting 30 minutes on hold call (pre-selecting English service option) only to hear "you know what, I don't speak English, let me transfer you to someone who may" 2 minutes into conversation. Another 30 minutes spent on hold and still no guarantee you will finally get a civilized person to speak to. I've also been disconnected multiple times as soon as they noticed they can't deal with the case. Like... What level of asshole is that...

Compare that to Italians- they often do not speak English, but they try, word after word, they are always doing best to help you and it's fun and nice experience speaking to them. The French are doing the best to piss you off and not help at all.

They are the worst customer experience up there with north america.

French are annoying.

Problem with English is they believe they were never defeated ever and they were the one to save Europe from Nazis and USSR
reality is they got there ass saved by US and sold Eastern Europe to communism for like half century for their own safety

French on other hand still tries to intervene everywhere ie Middle East;North and sub saharan africa becoz they do not want to believe they are even one step behind the English. French is a widely spoken language in Former French colonies and France still has some influence on many of they that has boosted the ego of french

Only difference is French has accepted multiculturalism at least when it comes from colonies[French Speakers] and knows they have no chance against US of Russia since it was occupied by Germans in WW2 so they support EU and closer ties with European countries

English on other hand were never occupied so they believe the world revolves around them and their former colonies feel some deep connections to them[ in reality their former colonies hate them]

That is the reason English chopped of UK's leg via Brexit thinking it can dump its neighborhood aka EU to trade all over thh world. Its going to catastrophic but once the virus of Nationalism and Patriotism is injected the ability to think through something gets eliminated. That is whats happening. Another big example is Trumps America
its slowly dismantling Americas soft power all over the Globe becoz the POTUS gets butthurt over everything
