Well, I originally brought up the idea of lynching an inactive, and Coffee said she'd rather them be subbed (which i agree with)

But I think we need to make some sort of progress.

Although, institutionally, i get weird vibes from her and @Ass but i don't act just on instinct in mafia.

 

Given the lack of information it's probably better for me to abstain from voting for now, tbh.

 

I literally haven't posted anything in here since my initial comment (sorry guys, I'll try to be on here more), how exactly am I giving you weird vibes? If it's inactivity, why exactly me? There are others who haven't been posting a lot, either.

Do you think that'd be enough to make you consider casting a vote for either of us? I know you said you don't usually act on instinct. Not much to go on the first day as we all know. But I do agree with Eucleia's point though, might as well take a shot here. Low player count also means that if we don't lynch anyone, scum will even the numbers between them and town. And then of course there's also that other role, too.

 

As Globear said above I suggested we got inactive players replaced not lynched. I'm against lynching people who might have a reason not to be that active, because we won't get that much information on them by preasuring them. Or at least that's what I've noticed in earlier games and then it becomes a wasted effort.

I'm all for taking action on dp1 but I don't want to accidentally kill a townie, since we might loose two people and I'm not sure we can afford that when we're so few players. Which is why I suggested it it might be a good idea to abstain, if we can't get enough information on other players.
I mean if there's two mafia and one indie, then we're pretty much screwed on dp2

I doubt indie would have a killing role or anything, that'd make it super hard

So was your suspicion or "intuition" of my scumminess based on my not being active earlier, or was it just coffee cat's reply to my general post that pretty much was just me saying hi and stating the obvious? Based on that logic you should be concerned about Conspirator and you yourself.

yeah I've been a little busy irl the past week, but I'll try to visit the board more often. All i'm saying is that I never replied to anyone at all, so I don't really see how that makes you suspicious of me and coffee cat particularly. If your suspicion of her is based on what Eucleia I get that, he made a fair point. But you didn't mention that either. Just a pretty unsubstantiated claim.

Yeah, now that I actually think about it that would be pretty damn unfair lmao.

 

i understand caution but realistically this game is going to be hard because the forum doesn't have the luxury of consistent activity

 

if town doesn't take action you're just letting mafia and indie get a head start since THEY have the info

by voting, you can look into voting patterns and see who did what and why, understand the thought process behind a lynch, etc

indie is prob game ending and can easily just blend in without any effort while helping town (this is my own experience from the games i've played), so also make sure to watch out for him/her

 

tho i'm fairly sure the host would try to balance the game too

 

also host,
maybe we need everyone who is currently actually active to coordinate a time (i'm in CST) and choose what's best and most convenient for them - just 20 or 10 minutes out of the day - so the game doesn't drag on endlessly and people have had their say for sure?

It sounds like you're trying to turn it into something to use in the future which doesn't look good.

Not at all, I'm dissecting your "suspicions" here and putting you on the spot. I'm trying to find out why you decided to single me (and coffee cat for some reason) out when there was literally nothing in my post that could be taken or skewed in any which way.

What it seems like to me though is that you're trying to stir something up from absolutely nothing. i'm not going to cast a vote on anyone just yet, but that in itself does give me weird vibes.

 

Mmm, that makes sense - but with that being said we need to follow up on the lynch votes, if not there's no point in using it.
Which is why I think it's rather weird you're not more thorough in questioning me?
I mean if you're gonna put a pressure lynch on me, I need something to respond to (?)
