the maf could have come up with nefarious plans that deviate from the classical play in mafia (which doesn't take a lot of effort), yes

but to me it's more likely remaining mafia can redirect lynches on a fellow townie using the power of suggestion too
mostly 'cos if people are this inactive and are basically aloof i don't see people attempting a tryhard big brain play

yeah they're probably just inactive. gonna make an assumption based off of inky's write up from the NP, but if scum had any conversation at all or were plotting something in the night maybe we would've gotten more than just:

in any case it's tough because there's so little to work off of. honestly though I think it might be better to try lynching conspirator or kagerou first before we vote one of us 3 out.

 

I don't think I've ever played with such a role before, but I don't get the feeling it's relevant in the game

Because you seemed very geenuine when answering my questions, which is a feeling I don't get 100% from Ass.
I know it's bad to rely on instinct, but the way you said you didn't particularly care seemed to be true.
Or you're a good actor, which is plausible as well.
Ass does seem like he could be town when looking at his passionate discussion with Globear. But that could be viewed the other way around too, if he felt cornered
