Then again I also feel Gen 3 games were absolutely amazing in terms of everything. Compared to first 2 gen 1 and gen 2 games. And then the remakes happen and these gens look even better.

I don't think moving from turn based fighting will benefit Pokemon since there's a big playerbase in competitive and with turn based fighting not being there, the competitive will be much hardcore than it already is, it would turn to just another Tekken or Pokken game.

When all routes become like Wild areas (which they will eventually) the game will be more alive. When we get voice acting and free camera movement the game will blossom.

I don't find all Pokemon not being there such a problem since I always play with new Pokemon in a new gen anyways and I don't understand anyone who plays with old ones in a new game like wtf? Isn't that the whole deal with new gens that you explore and play with....new pokemon? I'm more irked majority of the moves have been removed. And the mehanism of some games aren't there, but I guess every gen has it's own mechanism to play with.

Pokemon Sword and Shield compared to other Pokemon games is a spaceship. Pokemon compared to the other games on the same console, that's where we have a problem.

I also feel like Pokemon franchise is putting more money into anime than pokemon games. If we are looking at Game Freak...they don't have many people hired despite Pokemon being the best selling franchise of all time so that also is a limitation in their part.

With 100 people it's highly unlikely they will ever be able to animate so many pokemon with every gen, having every animation show DIFFERENT move, which there are again...way too many for each Pokemon.

 

I feel you totally on Gen 1,2,3 having the best designs. Hence some of the best Pokemon come from that time. Ever since gen 4 majority of Pokemon I just don't like but hey everyone has different tastes, to some Gen 4 have the best designes, to some it's crap. Ever since Gen 3 I only find like 2 or 3 Pokemon good looking in every new gen.

If Pokemon ever leaves turn game fighting the game just won't work. The battle's would be such a chore. Imagine going through every route and figting manually and everyone having a healthbar like in Naruto, Tekken or whatever...bruh...pls no. I don't want to encounter Pokemon on accident and go through all that everytime. Especially if there's that blackscreen cut before every fight. That would only work if the whole game is just open world. Where there are no blackscreen cuts and you just fight in the world like Witcher,God of War but then again how would that work with 6 different Pokemon and animations....maybe in 3040.

As a fan I'm disappointed 'cause I expect much more from the best selling franchise. But looking at it logically and seeing Game Freak having just 140(!??) employees? I can understand.


"They don't need to do new animations every gen, for the current and future gens, they could just future proof animations, but that already seems done. Most animations are fine" but they clearly aren't 'cause so many people are disappointed.

There are 890 Pokemon+ some other versions of same Pokemon. Every Pokemon at least has like 17 moves with leveling + 20ish with TM's + at least 5 Egg moves and like some tutor moves. Bruv if they animate every single Pokemon to every move they can learn, you wouldn't get a Pokemon game untill year 2100.

Most people are just talking shit about animation since it's practically impossible to do it. In theory it is if there are like 800 or whatever people like CD Project RED then yeah, but 100 people with them probs doing other stuff as well not only Pokemon. Just piss off. Literally no way. Either Game Freak gets more people or the game won't change much with every new gen. But that's again other thing.

 

Also it's so easy to make a video on youtube and chat shit for 20 mins while not taking any of important points into it...

 

Also Zelda is produced by fukin Nintendo a big fuking ass company and Pokemon is developed by Game Freak.

Of ******* course there will be a difference in graphics. Bruh some videos are just so shit.

 

I also talk shit 'cause I want more and better games but what can I expect from Game Freak? Pokemon Sword and Shield is probably what they can do best with their current arsenal.

People comparing Game Freak to Nintendo or some other developers are just stupid. It's like me comparing bloody The Last of Us (Naughty Dog) to bloody Snake on Nokia.

bloody hell, some videos on youtube are just full of retardness. If Game Freak had the same arsenal other big companies are working with, the games would be boss af, sadly they don't and it's just an indie studio.

 

My blood boil when I hear people comparing Zelda to Pokemon. Yeah if they both had same amount of people that would be a great comparison, too bad Nintendo has like 5000 of them and Game Freak has like 140ish...Good job idiot.
