This is why I will do the same with my s9 as I did to the s3. Keep it for probably like 7 or 8y ears. I paid it outright 1k upfront and then I can get away with $30 per month for credit.

nigga what the **** are you doing? I bet you use like 1/4 or 1/3 of what you get of that at absolute best (I don't mean literally you but those people). You should become a big brain my guy. Even if you just keep a phone for 5 years at 1k which it isn't really for USD that would be $200 per year then depending on what you pay for prepaid, it works out a lot cheaper./

 

Looks solid for me. I mean, I'm the same boat. I've got a shit plan with literally 50mb of data a day, or it charges me another $1 or something from the credit for 80mb. I hardly ever go over 50mb, unless I visit picture intensive websites, so that should be fine. Wait, isn't that misleading? Data is $10 per gb? Free after 6gb, so you would need to spend $80 all up for free data? I would check how much data you use on a monthly basis before locking in. It may be a trap one.

Any plans to buy your own house?

 

That's the better deal imo. It's security. Unless you know for a fact that you would never go over 2gb in a month.

I meant you solo? Join the struggle my boy. Not sure how it is there, but it's kind of fucked here. It can actually be cheaper to repay a mortgage than it is to rent. It's hell fucked. Then, when you finally have the house paid off, you're not paying extra money for rent or a mortgage, so you can really start saving. If you're able to get people to stay in the house alongside you, you could knock the mortgage over even quicker to minimize interest and then be in a better position sooner.

Btw, how much deposit would you need towards the house for a bank loan?

Only trouble with that is it's a split asset. You want one for you.
