But you have to start loving yourself and taking care of yourself.

2020 is a shit year, man. And some have gotten hit harder than others (like you, clearly). The best thing you can do right now is try to stay safe and healthy, improve yourself, relax, entertain yourself, and hope something good turns up soon.

For me it's dread regarding where this country is going and what kind of Fascist, disunited, culturally and morally bankrupt, environmentally-ravaged fuckfest I'm going to have to spend the remaining few decades of my life in.

mental health is a pretty touchy subject for most Indian boomers, who are already so emotionally drained that they don't even understand what depression is, they just think that this is what life is supposed to be like and they think everyone should live like this only.

 

its not just that. They lived in a better time aka less pressure less competition and less global world so something happening in US or China would have affected them minimal.
on other hand we are seeing second economic meltdown in 10-15 years of gap but they don't get it.

Finally yes depression and mental health is a taboo in this country. People don't want to accept others are or can be affected by it.

 

Well atleast we didn't had to swim 15 hours to go to school
