some of my friends who have been SW fans don't like the new Trilogy and mainly the lead char Rey played by Daisy Ridley
They also say Finn's role is joke in later movies simply to make rey look good but then again i myself haven't watched it

Some people just can't bring themselves to watch the Star Wars movies. I understand. Sitting through 11-12 movies is not easy. It's okay for me since I've been a fan for nearly two decades now.

Same for me. Though a cousin of mine who is into the series recommends I give Rebuild a watch. He says I'll like it. And he's usually (99%) right about something I might like.

The complaints about Rey are disproportionate, especially when it comes to TFA and TLJ (though her story arc in TROS was just a massive fan-fictiony ass-pull and complete 180 degree turn for which I'll never forgive JJ). But I agree about Finn; he is underused and treated somewhat badly, especially in TROS.

And also has a bunch of main characters not in the original, yes?

But my firm does have reduced income from a lot of clients going out of business (many since the introduction of GST from July 2017 to December 2019).

I would also like to point out that Indian engineering courses are not up to world standards. India actually produces some of the world's least employable engineers.
