    This is actually a sentiment I can behind. Macbooks are actually great for college, but shit for my particular line of work because none of the ERP softwares I use will run on Mac OS. Though they can be made to run on Linux based OS such as Ubuntu.

    The one I got is one of the new ones with their custom apple chip too instead of intel. Seems very energy efficient and has a very long battery life, so should be really good for anything from web browsing to photo editing, etc. Plus, doesn't have all the bloatshit that windows pcs do. That's a shame.

    I used to buy DOS systems and install Windows later. Didn't have to worry about bloatware.

    But these days, manufacturers have stopped selling DOS laptops & desktops :killme

    Only solution is to build a custom deskptop. Windows laptop? No choice but to buy whatever they shove down our throats.
