Kodansha is the company that publishes AOT. Its second biggest magzine in Japan after shueisha that has published OP, Naruto, Bleach etc etc

for example the last panel of AOT that you said was leaked could cost company many ¥¥¥¥.
Its their biggest work yet so they will try to capitalize everything.

An example Demon Slayer ended this year and its final vol came out this month. Considering DS was one of biggest manga ever to released in Japan shueisha announced that final vol will consist many pages from final few chapters that were removed when chapters were released causing massive demand for final vol which has been till now biggest op week sales beating One Piece at its peak
