    you don't realize that until you think about it. Cellphones which would be common now should have been pretty rare in mid 90s

    Those little happy feet :aww

    You can lose a lot of weight in less than a year, especially if you fall ill. I went from 78 to 64 kg in six months due to improved diet and exercise, then to 58 in another month due to typhoid. I know people who have gone from a BMI of 25 to 19 in a year due to exercise and diet alone (and two people much faster due to illness).

    India, America, and may be Russia are the only three countries where shit like this could happen.

    I remember this one instance in Hayate no Gotoku, which is canonically set in Japan from December 2004 to December 2005: In one issue they get an Android phone model which was released in 2011 and a PS4 which was released in 2013. They then go out of their way to break the fourth wall and talk about how they can have both of those when the series is set in mid-2005 for that particular chapter.

    I remember the post-time-skip Bleach anime showing touchscreen smartphones. The post-time-skip arcs of Bleach are canonically set in 2003-04. The first iPhone wasn't released till 2007 and the first Android smartphone till 2008. The LG Prada, released in late 2006, was the first all-touchscreen smartphone.

    XD

    Do we Indian people not understand the concept of a queue?

    And then there are those stupid motherfuckers who lower their facemasks to cough or sneeze! During a ******* pandemic! And right on someone's arm or nape!

    @Blazing Storm
    @Laraib

    Jesus Mohammad Krishna, we are an undisciplined ******* lot.

    Most Indians don't care about organized and planned things, they don't care about others' time and want to get their shit done quickly and gtfo. Schools should also teach some basic etiquette in the future.
    The thing with facemasks is prolly found everywhere in the world and not just here.

    that's my point, indian education system needs some big reforms. Now I don't expect them to include "how to do my taxes" in the curriculum but at least basic human etiquette and moral sciences should be included in the schools

    I've always been of the view that teaching etiquette was the parents' job, not the schools'. But now, I agree.

    Like 'Murica...?

    When me and the wife go out, I notice that only people from our generation or younger are properly wearing masks. Older people (50 and up) usually don't wear a mask, leave the nose exposed, or use the mask as a chinstrap.

    The trouble with our education system is that, like the US system, it is engineered to churn out obedient workers only. And things are only going to get worse in that regard under Modi-Shah. BJP state governments and the centre took the opportunity in 2020 to trim various topics from curriculums; these dealt mostly with things related to environmental movements and freedom struggles in other nations, things related to the law and the constitution, and chapters related to environmental science. They also white-washed a lot of things related to Hindu history.

    yeah lol
    Have you watched "Wake and Bake" by Rohan Joshi? It's on amazon, there he tells about a new curriculum 'IB school' which is much better than CBSE, ICSE etc.
    Yeah apparently govt is doing a lot of tweaking in the textbooks to thier liking :\
