Dunno but same can be applied to Shonen

 

But people like it KNY I mean. It's big not only in Japan but in SE Asia and US too

 

I don't get why, it's so overhyped and I have no idea why. I really don't understand the hype behind it

 

Maybe becoz people like it

It's bigger than one piece on per volume basis manga sales.
It's movie was the largest earning Anime film/Japanese film of all time
Single handedly helped Japanese economy
Still it has like 2 seasons to go at least

 

I mean no shit that they enjoyed it but I don't see why really, it's so...meh compared to other shonen

 

Different tastes

 

I mean it all comes to the point what shonen I'd rather watch and non of them is Demon Slayer

no one actually takes Demon Slayer over other shonen lel

 

One Piece: 480 million copies sold worldwide for 98 volumes ie 4.89 million per volume
KNY: 150 million copies sold for 23 volumes ie 6.52 million per volume

 

I mean yeah...but if you are generally saying that Demon Slayer is better then there's nothing else to talk about is there? I don't see in what world and what does Demon Slayer has which is better than One Piece in that matter.

I don't really see what Demon Slayer does better than other Shonen if we are being honest but it is how it is I guess
