I mean just look at all the major fights before that.
Sasuke vs Diedara/Itachi, Sakura&Chiyo vs Sasori, Kakashi and Team Asuma vs immortal Duo you won't have any complain. HELL EVEN Naruto vs Pain was great but after they blew up all the money on Hinata filler you literally had a Tom and Jerry tier fight.

I mean I clearly remember kyubi literally hammering pain in ground like a nail which I use to see in T&J

 

But that's what most people want though, hinata getting violently beaten aside it was very poetic (at least per shonen standards) for her to jump in and try to save naruto but yeah that childhood filler, that too being animated in that quality was retarded

Didn't watch any OP fillers since I started it after Naruto ended. You can understand I didn't have any hope about fillers

 

i am not talking about fillers that take on a tangent and start a mini arc, i am talking about fillers between canon points in the anime mostly in the ship where they talk and have fun, its just very comfy to watch
