One of my cousins, who is strongly pro-BJP and keeps heaping praises on Modi, said this:
South Bangalore will vote for a dog if it stands from BJP before voting for any other party.

The problem with Basavanagudi (where I live) plus Hanumanthnagar/Girinagar is that they have a high concentration of orthodox middle-class Madhwa Brahmins (and believe me - orthodox Madhwas are ******* nuts), Jayanagar and JP Nagar have a high concentration of wealthy orthodox Iyers and Iyengars, and RSS ideology is deeply entrenched in all these areas since the mid 1990s.

The problem with South Bangalore in general is that BJP can run a candidate who murdered a person in broad daylight in front of thousands of witnesses and on live TV, and South Bangalore will still vote him in as MP.

 

Tejasi Surya is indeed a ******* piece of shit.

He doesn't do ANY work at all. He just wastes his time on Twitter spreading conspiracy theories and ranting against Muslims. He keeps blaming UPA for the area's problems even though we've had a BJP MP and BJP corporators since 1996. Heck, our current corporator is worse. He actually went and caused panic last year during the lockdown, leading to panic buying and hoarding here. He also wastes tax payer money on the absolute stupidest shit.

The BJP has gotten so damn pathetic.

One of their workers that they claimed was killed in the violence turned out to be a CPI man. They lied about gangrapes. They vandalized their own offices after intra-party clashes erupted (has happened many times before with BJP West Bengal, according to Alt News and a pro-BJP cousin of mine who lives in Kolkata).

I'm genuinely afraid these fucks are going to force Pres rule and destroy the very fabric of the state.
