Probably becoz oden was already dead but Ace wasn't

 

Why wil WB care about Wano tbh. Oden and Toki dead. Momo and Hiyori presumed dead the war would be futile. Also WB probably didn't know extent of what was happening in wano becoz it being closed country

 

Considering he was on same ship with crydoo we don't know how his relationship with him was.

Obviously plot was the reason but we do assume that WB will start a war over lost cause that will jeopardise life of his sons.

Ace on other hand was not a lost cause. Also oden left WB ship while Ace was still part of crew and when hunting BB had silent support of them which led to his capture

 

Also despite Thatch's death we know WB didn't want Ace to go and catch BB since he thought it would be lost cause so it does make sense for him to not attack crydoo in wano

 

We all assume that WB wil be all gung ho becoz he was the strongest man alive and loved his family yada yada but forget that he was not in his prime and was on life support. His actions show he probably got tired of all the fights and even when he went to save ace its been hinted it was to make his last stand and pass the mantle to Ace.

Also we don't know when WB actually realised that oden is dead since it can like 10 years later or 15 becoz again no one knew what was going inside wano
