Do you think India will become something like a "Hindu Rashtra" or whatever it is those people want?

 

Nah once Modi loses election his persona will dive like Trump.
His entire cult has been created based on the Legend he can not lose.
Whenever BJP wins it becoz of him but when it loses state election the suddenly shift blames to local leaders. If he loses say 2024 whole house of cards will come tumbling down within half year

Fuking hell, these people are hopeless.

Hard to say, especially given the likely fraudulent nature of the 2019 elections. And given the recent nonsensical drama over non-existent threats to Modi's life, I have genuine fears of an emergency imposition.

We're in pretty much an undeclared emergency now anyway.

People are fed up with Dhongi, even in BJP/RSS strongholds in the cow belt. But Modi remains a popular figure thanks to his stronger personality cult nationwide.

Both. The truly scary thing is that he remains popular even among educated middle class urban Hindus in cities like Bangalore.

The only way India can go down that path is if Modi-Shah decide to impose an emergency and dismantle every one of our institutions by force.

The RSS have indeed been waging a saffron jihad of sorts against all of our democratic machinery. But I don't think they have what it takes yet to go full Hindu Taliban. Our democracy is indeed in a fragile state right now, but not so much that we're looking at a full blown theocracy. I have genuine concerns about another emergency imposition, but not a full on Hindutva coup.

Haven't even seen these Godi Media channels talking about this in-depth other than to disparage the students. The only ones giving this proper unbiased coverage are NDTV and independent outlets like NL and HW.

What motherfucking subsidy for the poor? The Modi regime owes Rs. 20,000+ crore in MNREGA wages in North India; Rs. 1400 crore in subsidized healthcare in Karnataka alone; Rs. 2500 crore each in unpaid disaster relief for Karnataka and Kerala (each!).

And they also owe at least 1.6 lakh crore in Income Tax refunds (for the past few assessment years, not just this one).

The Allahabad High Court granted Ashish Mishra bail . . . for a quadruple murder committed on camera, and the case against him backed up by a Supreme Court SIT. And their reasoning is that the brutality of protesters was displayed when they revenge killed people in the car used in the murder; that no firearm injuries were found on the murder victims despite video showing them being shot and the SC SIT plus autopsies confirming bullet wounds; and that Ashish Mishra co-operated with investigating authorities when summoned, despite the fact he was absconding for days after the FIR was registered and summons was issued; that the only reason Mishra is facing such flak and legal scrutiny is because he is a BJP Union Minister's son.

More likely a master strike by Shah, who sees Dhongi as a potential rival whose head has gotten a little too bloated. Makes more sense considering the shit with Justice Loya, and especially so when you consider that Dhongi is closer to Shah in personality; Fascists always suffer and fear rivals who are most like themselves in personality.
