It was 100% legal, not smuggling. There is no legal restriction on bladed weapons in luggage that is checked-in and meant to be stored in the aircraft's inaccessible luggage compartment i.e. not in the cabin baggage; you just have to produce a bill from the shop you bought it from (clearly showing VAT/GST registration as well). Heck, you can even check in no more than one firearm (and 50 rounds of ammunition) on producing a gun license, special carry permits, and a letter from your residential address's jurisdictional police station verifying a clean background check (and also informing the airline/airport beforehand).

An uncle of mine (mom's cousin) who retired from the Indian army checked in his personal pistol when flying from J&K back to Bangalore.

So... Yeah. If you can check in ******* guns, nobody is going to question a sword.

Doing new game +, it's insane how much easier is the game when you play it again

 

I've been there.

First play-through: Play on lowest or second lowest difficulty setting.
Second play-through: If playing on same difficulty, it seems way easier.
Third play-through: Turn difficulty up to highest and suffer for a bit before getting adjusted.

Star Wars: Republic Commando has three difficulty settings: Easy, Medium, Hard.

Easy is child's play.
Medium and Hard are both infuriatingly difficult, especially the Prosecutor and Kashyyyk missions.

 

One piece is so dumb, I mean exploding boogers... really?

 

It's sadistic. You make one out of three difficulty settings easy as **** and the other two so hard that you want to punch the ******* monitor? Who does that?

It's way better than magical swords whose sole purpose is to make people naked by vaporizing their clothes when you slash them (and causing no injury whatsoever). At least those booger bombs could kill and destroy shit.
