Idk which series you're referring to but it sounds like it's main purpose isn't to be a good story as much as it is to be good fap material

Imma say it now.

Blackbeard with all the build up has the potential to be the best written villain in the whole manga world. The portrayal of him, the speech and the fact that he actually resembles a pirate is just amazing.

Also I've been watching old OP videos and man...timeskip Nami sucks balls, pre-timeskip Nami actually had a character.

ok then I guess these 100+ chapters are a good enough indication that I should stop reading since that stuff is getting more and more annoying

I expected a serious story with good comedy to supplement it not a cringy gag-fest that doesn't land 90% of the time

 

So far I haven't been impressed with the series at all (besides that one chapter with Nami and I liked the zeff/sanji backstory) and if it's going to remain like this or if the serious stuff is going to get even scarcer I don't want to read it further.

I've slowed down my pace to a crawl anyway since I've lost a lot of interest after Arlong arc ended (the big fight was really underwhelming) and I don't wanna waste my time
