The 1.76 lakh crore figure for the 2G scam is probably wildly exaggerated. They raked that figure up to drag MMS's name through the mud (even Vinod Rai, the CAG who shat that figure out, gave no solid basis for it). But they won't say anything about equally monumental losses caused by Vajpayee by his New Telecom policies and his privatization of some profit-making PSUs back between 2001-2004.

He's more knowledgeable on pogroms and cricket than economics.

He should just stick to coaching Hindutva cricketers

He isn't joking about some of these figures. TN is indeed among the highest tax paying states. They have less than 6% of the nation's population but contribute something like 12.5% of the overall direct and indirect taxes collected across India.

He is actually a very good FM. He's also a qualified MIT grad and knowledgeable on the constitution and history. He's one hell of a package.

The FBI raid on Trump has a lot of people celebrating.

I'm actually suspicious. Director Wray was appointed by Trump and has long been an anti-antifa right wing nut who refused to investigate white supremacist domestic terrorism for the threat that it poses. His backing by the FBI-AA is also worrisome.

I'm worried this isn't a raid to gather evidence, but rather to destroy it. I'll only take these words back when we see actual indictments and sentencing.
