    I was a black clover enjoyer, so it was sad when the anime finished up. Hopefully it returns when the final arc is concluded.

    Yes there was a news that some 80 VA/staff are working for TYBWA and other studio's are facing problem becoz of it.
    I believe it posetive thing that SP is investing in it at least rather than treating it step motherly like entire last decade

    I didn't use to think so but believe Pandemic has given boost to older titles and yeah it has genuinely become golden money for it

    It's basically a win win for all involved. Bidding war keeps raising the price of the rights to stream it, so they get a big pay day. There is potential for Disney or whoever wins the rights to a pay off with increased viewers of that one thing and Viz owns the physical media distribution rights, I don't think that's changed so I'm also happy when it comes time to buy the blu-ray. The only potential cucked people are if Disney fucks up how the deliver it and if it's not simulcast, but they'll just be ******* themselves over because fansubbers would pick it up at that point. Either way I don't really give a shit about the whole streaming debacle I'll watch it for free then buy the blu-rays.

    I didn't really think of how many characters are involved, makes some sense lol. Yeah, definately. It also doesn't look like trash quality too, although time will tell.

    Yeah, it seems like it. Then again, there has always been outcry for adaptations of older titles, I guess it's just more vocal/popular because it's seen more success.

    Anime cover till like chap 270.
    It's currently around chap 338 and in its final arc so there will be enough content but the question is will they.
    Bigger titles with long anime has never gotten reboots.
    Clover has 17 million in circulation for like 32 volumes vs some other mangas

    Reborn: 42 vol(30 million)
    Toriko: 43 vol(25 million)
    Rourani Kenshi: 27 bol(72 million)[There are talks of new anime and it also has sequel series and it author is pedo but that another story)
    Slam Dunk: 31 vol(170 million)[There is animated film series but it will come like 20 years after anime)

    These were all bigger Shonen jump titles so i kinda doubt Black Clover will get one but who knows since manga industry is different from what it was like 10 years ago

    I mean, the anime originally ended at 51, well was slated to, then at 102, but continued to 175 or 180 or whatever. Then they are making the movie and the manga was om a hiatus. So it's more likely than not it'd continue imo

    The lack of seasonal approach is honestly looking more and more bad for the anime industry. Even DBS went on hiatus and that's a bigger name than Naruto.

    Makes sense to me.

    It still bothers me that Disney got the rights to the Bleach Blood War anime when the rest (and the live action movie) are already on Netflix.

    Then again... Similar shit happened with different Star Trek shows being on both Netflix and Prime.

    Yeah, the pandemic has really given older works a boost.

    I mean . . . you yourself are sitting there binging all the old Bond flicks.

    I am also guilty of this of course. I replayed a lot of old games during the lockdown.

    Shit honestly looks good. It looks a tad different from the original anime, but still looks to be of decent quality. And given the Japan time-slot assigned for the Blood War anime, it's likely uncensored or little censored.

    I think it's mostly different due to better production value + not being weekly (they had however much time they've needed to polish it) + stylistic change. It's like 10x better than the old anime.

    Yeah but Manga was popular and growing back then.It has been declining ever since.
    And if the movie doesn't do well then and chances are it won't do that well anyway.
    Bleach for example was very popular but it's film series didn't do that great.

    Dragon ball nonetheless has seen resurgence thanks to super.Also i believe Toei does have one piece so it can bide it's time with Dragon Ball anyway

    Not completely true.
    I honestly never binged James Bond series ever and also i only started doing that since I fell most of the new things are just void and cramped up.

    Older films gives out feeling of a non hotch potch world where doing ridiculous stuff took some real talent and today most things are CGI lol
