Nah the artist looks competent, characters may look slightly different but should be 90% same as Kishis designs. The bigger problem is it's a SasuSaku story where Naruto is sick from getting rikudos powers or some shit as a way to retcon explain why he's nerfed to basic kcm since start of boruto.

Also it's funny they're doing this now of all times when the sales for boruto are at their lowest. Do you think it's because of that or is it just a coincidence?
