Me, you and everyone else know that manga doesn't translate good into live action.

One Piece is a heavily story based manga, Batman is a superhero comic, it's a massive difference in how a good 1000 chapter story translates into 1-2h movie live action compared to superhero where you have freedom of just having a villain to fight.

 

Doraemon has almost similar per volume sales as one piece lol.

Almost half the number of volumes with almost half the number of sales

 

Even Dragon Ball which is huge in west massively flopped with live action, it's probably the worst movie ever made.

It's not even about One Piece, it's just manga doesn't translate good into live action, like that's common sense lol
