    I've been thinking recently about ai art and how its going to impact the industry, maybe all my fellow artists will lose their jobs or maybe it'll turn out that AI art is impossible to regulate and will become undesirable for professional clients so the full control over the origin of the picture that is provided by real human artists will remain the best option.

    AI art taking jobs is a meme for many years I think. No guarantee it works, too hard to get specifics, etc

    I'm talking in 5 to 10 years. I am an artist and I can see already even in its current form how it could take away a lot of jobs and for very specific reasons if it catches on with the right corporations.

    I feel like it could take some jobs but not all. Plus, people like to have someone to fall back on, or converse with if something is wrong. The current state is just hoping you get the prompts right to create the image you're looking for. It's also only possible because of it being trained by existing arwork.
