    I'm not really into Naruto vs OP discussions on twitter, decided to see some since some popped up on fyp.

    Naruto fan saying Saul is an asspull makes me laugh so much because he says " he didn't appear for 700 chapters and then he just appeared in the story".

    Saul never died officially? He was frozen?
    Aokiji's stance is still not known.
    One is to assume, one is to 100% be confirmed.

    Also...

    What about Obito then xD I am creasing xD

    They're the same difference. Pretty much everyone thought Saul was dead, so it's pretty disingenuous to say most thought otherwise. The biggest redflag was just the name of the attack Aokiji used (Time capsule or whatever). Oda has no trouble killing characters in flashbacks, so him being dead was consistent with Oda's writing if anything.

    For Obito, likewise, most people thought he was dead. Kakashi being able to awaken the mangekyo is probably the biggest flag for Obito not being dead. It really doesn't make sense for Kakashi to awakening it "with training" if you think about it.

    I would say the example are both on the same level of stuff vaguely being there but kinda feels like an asspull. At the very least it completely destroys their "death" scenes.

    Obito was the Obvious choice we all were just overthinking
    Dude had sharingan and a space time ninjutsu.

    The problem with Saul is his death had big impact on Robin and now it just well I wasn't dead Lol

    For me the options were like Madara, Kagami or Obito. But I thought maybe like someone using Obito's body like how Orochimaru did. xD
