I had already cleared Ryu and Sach yet they still voted against me after I warned u guys what my role was

 

Not necessarily true. I've played advanced games where votes change a lot during the day phase. It's not uncommon for people to change their vote 2+ times if they actually care about and invest in the game. Lazy voting just ends up hurting the game, it doesn't encourage any sort of discussion about who the killer is. On a Forum game of Mafia, where there is time to talk about it and debate, there really is no excuse.

 

You didn't, but you still said "you will die" which was really something a person running away from the lynch would say, Plus I confirmed ryu kishi and so I didn't have much of a choice other than voting for no one which would be ulrta suspicious

The chances of Aeryn voting for you were less than zero saying that she was actually arguing that you weren't a scum, but she still did and I still voted before seeing her vote, oh well though. I admit, I fucked up.

 

I'm not exactly known for my debating skills but in this game it was not needed cause it was rather obvious, if Santa's net was working properly then it would have been obvious to him also

 

If it was obvious, you would have won. I'm really not going to chalk this win up to Santa's net being shitty, because there was plenty of time in the game for you guys to nail me to a cross. The fact of the matter is I wasn't - because of lazy voting - and I took advantage of that.

Take it however you want. Ignore what I'm saying. Whatever. Just know that I the way that you played was something I took advantage of, and was prepared to take advantage of further in the event you did actually explain yourself (which you didn't anyway.)

 

Like. I don't know if its because I've played this game for years, but I kind of expected a little bit more from a forum with its own dedicated forum section to the game. It's not Town of Salem, lol.

I really, really shouldn't have won that game.

 

Well I norm don't last long in games anyway I'm always the 1st oneh out for some reason as you saw at the start of the game. Also that's just how I am

 

Town of Salem is actually a lot more complex than your everyday DN game, it has many roles and the time limits for phases are 24+ hours where you get plenty of time to discus and argue, not to mention you get so much time to PM others which is something most of the DN players aren't comfortable with. In fact DN pales in comparison to even a mini town of salem game...

DN games to begin with are never meant to be that deep, just a small convo with bits of clues, this what most people love about it, it's way faster and easier.

 

I don't argue that at all.

My point was that Forum games have more wriggle room for discussion and decision making over Salem, which has a time limit to what your actions are.

 

Still though, DN games at the very max last 4 hours, and the phases are 5-10 minutes each, you can't expect much from that honestly, can you?

Plus even in dn, you are action choice is timed, it may depend on the host, but most would invalidate it if late

 

Eh, we managed it fine tbh.

Asking for a little more effort from others isn't so bad I think.

 

Honestly you shouldn't have. Changing your stance to follow the crowd us scum behavior, aND so is never personally taking the assertive stance anyone, but still well played
