    Problem is I don't even get enough runes to lvl up once. I still didn't lvl up once since getting DLC xD

    Good progress but fair.
    I think at this stage the scrudtree fragment things are more important. It boosts your attack and damage negation

    Going through reddit and everyone is pretty much the same experience with NG+ saves, it's very not balanced in that regard xD

    but I feel like it's still a better experience dmg output and recieved wise, I'm having a bad time because I am not even getting enough runes for a lvl up and it will only get harder xD

    I got 150k for Dancing Lion and I need 360k for a lvl up xD

    I don't get 1 level from boss kill now too, but not that bad. You are also lacking the items that boost your damage and resistance. Obviously NG++ whatever will be harder, but I imagine it'd be a better time than now
