EU has jumped into the quagmire that is Ukraine.
The equation is simple you can provide them as much military equipment but at end of the day they will run out of men becoz they are like around a fifth of Russian population.The you need to continue the conflict or even a frozen one which can later escalate you need soldiers and they will come from inside Europe.

Asia doesn't need conscription becoz it has so much population that they can keep on going if there is a war.
Unlike Europe most of Asia is comparatively poor so military service is a great way to earn money and that is the reason armies will keep on getting volunteers longer

Conflict changes everything
Both Croatia and Serbia are arming and Serbia is like a Russian proxy in Europe.
You share border and border disputes with the so it is better to be prepared tha not.

More preparation means less chance of war becoz opponent knows that their will be heavy casualty.
Just been happy they won't be sent to Ukrainian frontline becoz if that happens it is direct transformation into fertilizer
