I hate most OLED panels as well. All the affordable OLED gaming monitors have PWM that gives me migraines; while the more expensive ones are just not worth it, and come with no guarantees of PWM amplitude that won't fukk with my eyes.

Ok I've watched the LotR anime movie, ngl this felt like the most non anime piece of media I've ever seen. Idk how to explain it but this felt so americanized in terms of the flow of the whole movie and characters. This felt nothing like what anime is and how anime flows.

Might as well be the worst piece of LotR I've seen LMAO. It's so uninteresting and you have no connection to the characters but that might be because of the already said reason with it not even feeling like anime other than the artstyle.

The MC is so weak as a character, incredibly non connecting to the viewer. I can't single out one good character let alone two.

That is the main pain of assembling a gaming desktop. You have to get the room in order to make space for the set-up.

Bro. This shite was made by Warner Bros animation. It was going to be either very good (which was very low probability, given their current state of affairs) or absolute crap. Nothing in-between.

Don't even get me started on how OLED display makers blatantly lie about the PWM frequency and amplitude.

You'll hear claims of astronomical PWM frequencies and miniscule amplitude, but actual real world testing reveals PWM frequencies below 240 Hz (sometimes even as low as 90) and amplitudes exceeding 30% (anything above 19% is bad for the eyes and for display longevity). For all the shite I give Samsung and Sony, at least they are honest and consistent with their PWM claims. You can't say the same for Asus, Apple, OnePlus, and Nothing. And Nothing especially can go fukk themselves up the a$$.

Seriously, they need to be penalized for this shit, and charged with false advertising.

1080p would be enough if the monitors are not too big. It would also make it more future-proof.

They did get a Japanese animation studio involved. However, most of the animation was, as far as I know, done by a Warner Bros owned studio. And they used a combination of motion capture and animating over those captures with Unreal Engine. This kind of work would make sense for a live-action or 3D animated feature, not whatever this was supposed to be. Then they messed it up even further in the 2D process, resulting in something jarring.

I'm not even going to give it a shot. I still have other shit to watch (like Amphibia, which is genuinely good in terms of writing) and a few good books to read, and I can't be arsed to sit through something I know is going to leave a bad taste in my mouth.
