Considering it is an active health hazard, it should actually be criminal.

You can't even call it a mobile phone when it is utter dog-shit at the very first and basic thing it is supposed to do: picking up usable cellular signals.

Yeah. My sister wanted to get an S24 (or an S23, if she could) after her S20 died on her after a bad fall from a staircase. I and her husband convinced her to instead get the A55 for much less (he was also getting one anyway) and she has been very happy with it so far. They both ordered one for each in two different colours xD

If this is an issue across devices, then it is indeed a network provider issue, not a device issue.

A54 I have tried out myself. So has my bro-in-law. It has generally acceptable to good reception in most areas. Weaker than the A35 with the same SOC? Sure. But it's still usable. It suffers only in areas where network coverage is moderate to low, and other devices also suffer the same issues. I would not advise it only if you live in a remote rural locale, where you absolutely should get something with a Qualcomm X50/X60/X70 series modem (which entails Snapdragon 6/7/8 series SOC only). But for city, suburbs, big town - with moderate or higher coverage, A54 should be okay. It works well in rural Bangalore and rural Mysore even.

By the way, what Samsung device do you have? Exynos or Snapdragon variant?

It's a small office for a small family-run concern. But, yeah, point still stands.

I'm not sure I'm a little undecided. IIRC ironically Asus had the better designed boards either with 40 or 30 series can't recall. But I really don't want to go asus. I might either just go nvidia founder's edition or maybe MSI. I have gigabyte atm and idk, it's been fine just stock but I never really could get it stable with overclock/undervolt so might go a different brand. I also don't really want to pay like an extra 800 though, so extra price is also a factor.

    Definately.

Exactly lmao like what the ****. Just call it a wifi phone. done. xD

Matching phones cute. xD But that's good.

Yeah, it's definately like a blackspot here I feel like. Service was better before they switched 3G off, so I guess the only reception we had that was decent was the 3g.............. I just have the base s23 I think it's snap dragon but i am not 100%.

It could be a ******* 50m2 dwelling and it'd still be a valid point. lmao.

Will you bet getting the 5070?

Asus Nvidia GPU quality has gone down a bit since 2014. They're not shit, but not as good as they used to be. MSI is more than okay for performance, but of average build quality. Gigabyte in general make good stuff, and you can't really go wrong with their GPUs, unless you want to overclock. You could get a Zotac, but they tend to run very hot, as far as I recall, and I don't know how they've maintained their quality.

    XD

A55 is an upgrade in some regards, actually. It comes with a memory card slot (a very fast one as well) so my sister can shove a card in there for extra storage once it gets filled with shit (she filled up her S20 in a year and a half). A55 also has far better battery life. Sure, you get slightly slower charging and no wireless charging, but that is worth it for two extra hours of screen on time?

The only downside is that the device is huge for her tiny hands (and a case only adds to the bulk) and heavy (nearly a quarter kilogram with a case).

Base S23 is Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which means it has the Qualcomm X70 modem. It has the strongest network reception strengths of any mobile phone modem on the market right now. S23 also has very well tuned antennas (nine of them). If you have shit reception with that, then the network provider is just beyond shit. This is not your phone's fault.

Funny thing: Our office is actually a 50 metre squared (roughly) residential house converted to an office. You were spot on with the area as well.

Gigabyte is good. It's only if you try to overclock yourself that you run into issues. At stock settings, they're good.

    "I'm a chill guy"
This is false, you little shit XD

I think it might've been 30 series, or 40 series, but they had better i forget like power delivery compared to some other models when cards or the chips on it (idk if gpu die or whatever) was burning out. But yeah, shame EVGA doesn't do them anymore..

I've never used wireless charging in my life lol but fair. They were a bit big, or seemed that way.

Yeah I figure lol. No matter the provider it's shit here. Classic.

LMAO that's funny (the guess) xD

I mean, to give a vote of confidence iirc some 2080tis were defective and i never had that issue with mine. Granted it is the AIO model so basically the most top tier one. But yeah, any sort of overclcok or undervolt it just wasn't stable and would crash. It's possible it could've been other shit not the gpu i guess, but yeah. Do you even overclock or undervolt? I feel like you just run at stock so would be fine. I'm looking at a few models, but they all look kinda good (I'll turn meme lights off)

But the entry Windforce one even looks slick

MSI Suprim looks nice but you know it''ll be costly as ****

Gaming trio does look nice too

I think Vanguard is lower model but not 100% could be mid

they all look pretty good honestly, once you get rid of those disgusting toddler tier lights off your 4k high end product.
