everything it's the same shit bunch of random filler shit and then a small snip of the new game which looks the same as the last one

I'm not a cocksucking fanboy. It's fine. Not really a fan of what they've done in terms of how the game functions. It's rather annoying with the whole environment link that I can't ever seem to use. The link party is "fine" and allows you to join quests. But it's just so retardedly cumbersome. The whole online system is just dogshit. Friend and I are going through the story together because we just want to play together. But it's just some ham-fisted mid tier story no one gives a shit about. But the problem is it basically forces you to do it. Like, You can't open the quest board half the time because you need to continue the story. You gotta watch the cutscene (which is skippable) then you go on some slow ass auto walk slop on the mount to get to the "quest started" monster then you can join the friend.

But, we had it a few times where joining failed then we quit the quest and reposted the quest and the other could join. Just way harder than it should be. You were also supposed to be able to use environment link to be able to go out into the map and just explore/hunt shit together but so far we haven't been able to do that at all. You get optional quests by going through the campaign so until you do the story there's no other quests you can post to do. It's all tied to the campaign story, it's just stupid. The whole design is just destroyed for the sake of the story and no one gives a shit about story in MH.

They never should've combined multiplayer and story quests as one, it's been a massive mistake and has worsened the experience of playing together. The fact that quests are gone without the story or hitting the monster in the open when I can't get to the open bit in coop itself is also dogshit. It's basically all of the worst parts of how I thought open world monster hunter could be and cemented that I don't want it again in this iteration.

The gameplay is fine. It's monster hunter, if a little too easy.
