Oden was so ******* forced it made me dislike his character. Like he was forcing every character to suck him off. Even Luffy for some reason gave a shit to hear the backstory.

Bounty is largely "threat" to the world government it isn't neccisarily conflated to power level. Although, being real it has definitely been made that way. But it's not exactly all the time. Look at Buggy. He's the most wanted because he's arguably the only person directly trying to go to war with the WG. Luffy did "declare war" on the WG. But he wasn't actually trying to dismantle the governed system/celestial dragons. The revolutionaries have helped a lot of places, but the problem is we don't hear about it because Oda is retarded like that.
"Dragon lost Kuma". Kuma literally killed himself for Bonney. That has nothing to do with Dragon. Dragon was even the person that pointed Kuma to Vegapunk to help Bonney. This is what Kuma wanted more than literally anything in the world at that point.

What? Do people really expect him to completely throw years of plotting a revolution against people that have had an iron grip on the world and history for 800 years for one person? Dragon's character so far is doing things for the greater good. For all we know, Dragon literally sees himself and his army as the only chance of overthrowing the WG. The RA was in its infancy when the whole Ginny thing happened. Him going to Mariejois with like him and Kuma being the only strong people would've had them dead. People expect him to somehow find Ginny, while there are the holy knights, imu and the gorosei.

yeah, it makes absolutely no sense Imu wouldn't have attacked him. Rocks has Oden syndrome-lite. He basically is inserted into all of these scenarios that seem ridiculous.
The attack and recovery of Kuma was planned by RA btw. If the revolutionary army back then was what it was today, they likely would've went for Ginny. Literally every single "issue" with Dragon's character is just Oda's writing issue.

No I'm not going to spend any more time debating any of this shit. There's nothing to debate lol.

 

Oden was 1/2 of the issue. The other issue is character bloat. Oda has too many characters and gives screen time to the wrong characters creating a lot of shit no one gives a **** about. Then we have the shelved shit. Like remember the whole Onimaru gathering weapons plotline that was dropped. There's more but I just can't think of it right now.
