That's a shame, but totally fair issues raised. Also I switched desktop to brave a few weeks back because chrome finally killed ublock for me. So :D

Yeah, you just can't win them all. I could have it expand on hover, but that would just be annoying imo.

Maybe I'm ignorant but does any pop artist reach Michael Jackson? Like that guy was HIM, his moves were so unique, he was just generational, are artist getting worse or are fans getting more used to shittness? The songs I listen on radio nowadays are just horrid madness, whenever a classic drops it's a banger.

Nowadays many female pop artist are borderline a whore what the **** bruv, you have kids watching half naked girls sing!? Like wow.

I assumed you were a Firefox man.

I myself went back to Firefox. It is just an all-around great jack-of-all-trades web browser with a simple UI.

    Yeah. I get that.

    Oof...

You are not ignorant. Most pop songs since the late 1990s are copied-pasted garbage. Acoustics experts have even done actual scientific studies on the melodies and lyrics of pop music over the last thirty years and found them to be lacking in complexity and diversity compared to earlier tracks.

And don't even get me started on modern pop singers and their fake corporate feminism. These bitches don't have a single real feminist thought in their damn heads. It is all just for show.

I would've but I recall there was some tab grouping issue where they closed or something after some time, idk if that was still an issue, and I actually use that feature, so I just went with brave. You really couldn't go wrong with either. Phone still uses firefox though.

Yes. Vivaldi has a tab-grouping issue. RAM usage increased a good bit with the latest updates. It also has issues with the browser hanging during seeking while there is a lengthy video playing.

Yesterday, I was watching a rocats Halo speedrun video, which was over an hour and half long. I went from close to the beginning to somewhere around two-thirds of the way along the video time, and the browser just hanged as soon as I did that. It would not even die from Task Manager. I had to actually reboot my laptop.

The problem isn't youtube, but Vivaldi. That is the third time such shit happened. And I have never been able to reproduce that issue on Firefox or Edge despite numerous attempts.

I have both Firefox and Brave on my phone. I use the former as default, set to open any received links in a private window, also for net-banking (instead of using the official bank apps), and just general browsing. I use Brave for music/video streaming, since it is superior to Firefox when it comes to lock-screen playback and on battery life during media playback.

That's a rather unfortunate and annoying issue. In fact, almost puts it in the unusable category, at least for me it would.

Yeah, nice. You can't really go wrong with either imo.

Apparently, the issue can be fixed by changing a couple of settings deep inside the browser. There is even a direct link to this available on reddit and various youtube tutorials on how to speed up Vivaldi. However, it is not a good look for Vivaldi when considering the facts that (1) other browsers have no such issues by default and (2) you have to change some settings deep within the browser to get it to work optimally.

This shite would especially put off people who want things to work optimally right off the bat. And that is a perfectly fine state of mind.

Currently typing this comment out on Firefox :cat

Yeah, the whole "oh you just have to do x y and z to fix it" when it should just work is bad.

    Nice. :lewd

    As I have repeatedly stated:
Vivaldi seems tailor-made for tech-savvy people who want as many options on the board as possible.

Unfortunately, there are two issues with this:
    (1) It dissuades those who want something simple and to-the-point. Firefox is the best such browser.
    (2) Even tech-savvy people think Vivaldi overcomplicates things, and should be simplified.

By the way... It seems Vivaldi has seemingly fixed most of the issues with their ad/tracker blocker and media auto-play issues. However, other issues remain.

They have it backwards. It's meant to be simple and you can dig deeper for deeper options. Not you dig deeper for basic functionality. xD

    That's a good start. xD
