    I think they thoroughly screen people for the most part. But I mean, is it not easy to get into most places if you're not a criminal? I don't think the average person would have many issues getting into most places.

    I really have no ******* clue lol. It's kind of pick your poison. Western Australia is off doing it's own thing with Perth. Melbourne is expensive in Victoria. Brisbane and Sunshine Coast are expensive to lesser degrees, as is the Gold Coast in Queensland. I have no idea what the Adelaide is doing is South Australia and, well... Tasmania exists I suppose. You'd have to have a good look for yourself at like what jobs are available that you could do (for example on seek), and then look at the cost of living in the areas, or at the very least rent in the areas with the jobs to try and gauge if you could make it work.

    You could look at resources like https://migrationconsultant.com/australia/trades/electrician/ too

    While I don't disagree on that last part. Australia as a NATO ally (and pretty much just a hitman for Uncle Sam currently) and Germany as a member of NATO have a moral obligation to take in immigrants and refugees. Because, you know, their governments, militaries, and MICs are responsible for ravaging the nations from which these people are coming in from to begin with.

    The people railing against immigrants should look to their own governments if they want to solve the immigration issue. I mean... Even fukking Georgia Meloni, as abhorrent of a **** as she is, said it best when pointing out that the primary cause of African refugee influx to Italy and Europe is French, British, and US neo-colonialism in Africa.

    You are white and in an essential field. You'd have no issues getting into Australia.

    Most nations are hard to get into, bro. If you think Australia is tough to get into, try South Korea and Japan. Now those two nations are unwelcoming as heck when it comes to immigrants. S Korea in particular is notoriously xenophobic. Surprisingly, the DPRK is the exact opposite.

    I have a client in Adelaide. She described it as - and this is verbatim - "boring as heck, but pretty and peaceful" when I spoke to her last. She also stated that it is moderately expensive compared to Melbourne and Sydney.

    Australia is strict when it comes visas. Not as much as the likes of France perhaps, but still pretty strict.

    I say this seeing the experiences of two cousins and two clients.

    That reminds me...

    @Gobb

    A cousin of mine from England and her fiancé both got jobs in Brisbane. Royal Brisbane hospital, I think (they are both doctors). They moved about ten days ago are settling in nicely.

    It's a complicated issue/topic. What has made it worse is the housing crisis in Australia. When you have people born and raised in the county living in tents (including families with young children), while others are coming in and getting government funded housing/accommodation, that is an example of what sparks people up about it. It's a logistical fact of more people coming into the country than houses that are/can be built on top of existing accommodation/housing struggling to meet demand. That is not even considering the natives of the land, either. Again, I don't think most people have much issue with some level of immigration, and that level may be different from person to person - and some may just not want it at all, or actually be racist about it, but I think most people expect their own government to look after their own citizens first before helping others.

    That is what I would expect from Adelaide. xD

    Np!

    Oh nice! Hope it treats them well. It's fairly expensive there, but sounds like they have good jobs to match. xD
