Same story in most of the "developed" world. Telecom is actually far better when it comes to choice and prices across much of the global south.

Which city? I remember having a hearty breakfast last year for just seven Euro in Frankfurt (a rather heavy sandwich plus cappuccino).

You actually have better choices of service providers in supposedly "totalitarian" China, both when it comes to coverage and customer service.

In India, you had eight major players up till 2014, which has whittled down to four under crocodile fukker Modi. Prices and customer service were better back then, and have only gotten worse since 2014.

But at least it is vastly better (for now) than the US, EU, and Australia; where choice is limited, prices are ass, and customer care makes you want to commit mass atrocities.
