I am assuming the deep deep sea contract or whatever are those who get regen? Does that mean there are only 8 holy knights? Or are there more and only some have that? This kind of paints imu as maybe the sea devil or something.

So the way that Oda chose to finally address the holy knight doing ******* nothing when Fisher Tiger escaped which was a massive glaring hole is to just have Shanks there conveniently and being the one to enable his escape. LMFAO. Also, doesn't this version of events contradict existing canon? It's right here when he was escaping he was directed to free the other slaves. I thought previously he went back and freed them after escaping himself? I don't care about the detail of him escaping "himself" or with help, but how would Shanks leaving the armoury unlocked when he escaped help him free the slaves months or years later if we assume he didn't immediately free the salves, which if he did, would contradict the previous timeline?

Feels so weird to see Shanks act so formally, and the whole rant about being a CD.

The issue isn't the climbing of the redline or whatever, it's the timeline of events. He was freed, got back to fishman island, then left again wanting to free the slaves if I recall correctly. But this chapter implies that he was freed moments before he freed the other slaves. Or, if you take it that he was freed, went to fishman island, then later came back to free them, we are expected to believe that somehow the armoury remained unlocked for that entire time. It's unrealistic.
