How strong is base Loki, blud went weapon to weapon against Harald :O

Is Gaban hinting a foreshadow? Will Shanks fail what he is supposed to do?

Loki might get the biggest power up the human mankind has ever seen. Ragnir and the DF?!?!?

So my canon is now, Loki took all the blame on himself to leave Harald's respect in Elbaf.

It was said Shanks beat Loki when Harald died, I wonder what's that about?

Amazing follow up for the next chap!!!

P.S how does Shanks know so much about the pacts? I wonder if Shamrock is a spy there. I'd love if Shamrock is on the good side ngl

Loki and Harald seem like anomalies. The average giant seems not overly strong, but their strength changes depending on what oda wants to write. Like Hajrudin got ******* floored by Luffy back during Dressrosa.

As much of an idiot as Harald was, ignoring every red flag and warning, it's still sad to see him finally realise it. He has no control over his body at this point and feels that he wasted his entire life. It reminds me a bit of when Doflamingo controlled King Riku and made him slaughter his own soldiers. Very much the exact same thing.

Is that good though? Like, sure it makes Loki have more respect of Harald, but at the same time it's kind of retarded, because then that means there's no warning of the whole thing of Harald being controlled by the WG and that he regretted working with them. With the truth not being told, there's no reason that the next King wouldn't just go back to trying to do what Harald did and end up back under the WG thumb..? That is very obviously why Harald is telling Loki to go to these extremes. He doesn't want them to be enslaved by following his exact same mistakes.

I mean, they openly told Harald about it, seems stupid it's not so secretive and they blindly trust someone who has been living with arguably their worst enemy (roger). So if Harald knew a bit, I'm not surprised that Shanks who is Garling's kid would be told shit. But at the same time, why wouldn't Shanks have warned Harald if he knew? He had to have only more recently found that out, otherwise Shanks comes off as a massive **** to not explicitly warn Harald of the total obedience shit. But I mean, if you already knew you're controlled in the Holy Land, then why the **** would you agree to what would only be worse? Idk, whole thing seems so flimsy.

I am very curious what the fruit's power is!

Well, Harald and Loki both are ancient gaints, Hajrudin is a normal bongo….

I don’t think Shanks knew otherwise I feel like he would have said it? Hmmm

Hajrudin is still a descendant of an ancient giant, after all Harald is the only one that was an ancient giant descendant as far as we know, unless everyone on Elbaf has Ancient giant blood, and that's why they were against marrying to other giants external from Elbaf.

I am going to assume that Shanks only recently found out the full lot of information, after Harald was already given the deeper contract, or he simply never had the opportunity to tell Harald. Otherwise if he knew and could've told Harald, really doesn't put Shanks in a good light.

I feel like the big giveaway are the horns. I feel like Hajrudin wasn’t lucky enough to get the ancient gifts :akarinthink:

I think he is a clear parallel to his mother being not off ancient gifts!

Yes, the horns are obviously showing they are anceint giants. But Harald is Hajrudin's father, so it's not like he also isn't of the ancient giant bloodline, he just didn't inherit the horns, large height and seemingly even the strength. I find it a little odd.

Yes, Hajrudin takes more after Ida.

I mean not every kid is 1:1 to parents I guess Hajrudin took more of moms genes than fathers. I think this is a very clear parallel and obvious choice that a non prince lineage will rule the Elbaf. Hajrudin is 100% taking over the king title at the end of Elbaf. To be honest so far every ancient Giant was portrayed universes more strong than a normal giant. I think that's a bit unfair to Hajrudin to think any less of him. Also his opponent was Luffy of all people. Though giants in general were retconed since early One Piece xD

Not even sure what you're saying is a parellel? Not everything is a parallel. We literally don't even know previous Kings, for all we know, Harald might have been the first one with strong ancient giant blood and the horns and super height.

I am not saying just Hajrudin is weak. I'm saying at large the giants aren't as strong as they're made out to be most of the time, but Oda changes this when it's convenient. Most of them were jobbers in the marines, that were unimportant. So far, Harald and Loki are the only true top tier giants we've seen. Dorry and Broggy were retroactively made up there.

Right now, Harald is wanting Loki to take Elbaf, I could see it going either way, but I think probably it would make sense if it ends up as Hajrudin ruling because they like to do the whole "traditions were thrown out and it worked out good"

It’s been said no non prince lineage ever lure the land, Hajrudin will be the first non pure blood one that’s what I mean, I don’t see Loki taking the throne. That’s what I mean with parallel to Ida because Hajrudin resembles Ida and Loki resembles Harald!!

Yes, I agreed that it makes sense for that reason. I don't think it's really a parallel not everything is, but if you think so ok.
