Income Tax portal is utter donkey shit, bros.

- Website has issues logging in when using Firefox. Have to log in using a Chromium browser.

- However, tax payments have a high failure rate in Chromium browsers, while working (even if slow) 100% of the time in Firefox.

I hate it, bros. I hate it so much. I want to get a gun just so I can shoot myself in the head.

 

They contract private parties to set-up and maintain the websites. Said private parties raise ludicrously inflated invoices, a cut of which the politicians will get.

The new GST and Income Tax portals of ours were set up by Infosys. The former cost INR 20 billion, and the latter INR 60 billion. Infosys "donated" an estimated INR 4 to 6 billion to the ruling BJP at the centre (and the founders are also known Hindutva nuts).

And all the while, the employees of Infosys get starvation wages.
