have you heard of mammoth walk/march? I think you'd love it!

 

I have done walkathons ranging from 20 to 30 km. I regularly walk from my house to my parents-in-laws' house (10+ km). I have also done hikes/treks ranging from 15 to 40 km. But I can't run for more than a quarter km.

I have heard of it, yes. But those events are only in the US and may be Canada, as far as I am aware.

 

I mean you can do them unofficially as well! it all counts!

I'd say 20-30km walk isn't much if you are used to, it's all a matter of perception in your head tbh, someone who never did a 10k walk will think that's too much, when you do a 10k eventually your goalposts moves to the next goal.

Terrain type also matters.

ONE PIECE IS MASSIVE

 

I walk at an average of 6 to 7 km/hr (pretty fast walker). At 6 km/hr average, 20 to 30 km would take 3.33 to 5 hours.

I can do a top walking speed of 8 km/hr. But at that pace, I can walk a maximum of 60 to 70 minutes, which translates to a distance of 8 to 9.3 km.

When I walk to my in-laws' house (10 km) it takes me 1.5 hour.
