Yeah maybe, the way I interpret it is he was measuring himself but didn't intend to actually fight the guy, but could be wrong.

Yeah, seems he doesn't want that while in the loop at the very least.

Yeah, I mean, if she was wrong, how would she have back peddled it? LMAO.

Yeah I guess so, but I never thought much of it. Could've had a Russian parent. But yeah, just for the sake of backstory I guess. Ah ok.

 

I had taken it another way. I took it that to stop the resetting they have to kill to special mimic, then the reset point is the next special mimic, but who knows.

 

Chapter 10 was good. The headaches indeed seem to be a side affect of looping. Man this is kind of weird, so the mimics are kind of acting like a network, the one with the antenna is the mimic server which turns back time, but there's also a backup, so even if it's killed, time still is turned back. The goal has shifted to take down the entire network to get out of the loop.

Rita broke the loops by doing this, but sadly the lieutenant died. That's rough, seeing as apparently it's the first loop he died in.

I'm a bit confused here, I thought she broke the loops, but it's saying now she gained the power of the time loops? As in, she can control them?

 

Chapter 11 was good. So the loops the mimics create are 30 hrs, and Rita's method is to always loop back to the same battle once. She would use the intel from the first loop to improve the outcome in the second loop. At least this gives a better understanding, so Rita broke the infinite time looping, and now has the ability of just 2 loops per battle and she preferred to be alone before battles.

So in the three years since Rita escaped the loop, she hadn't met another time looper until she came across Keiji. Interestingly, she had her own headache flare up around him. Makes sense as soon as she saw her own eyes in him, and suspected he may have the loops that she'd finally want to interact with someone.

When Keiji answered the question that she had from when he was killed in the battle the next day, she broke into tears. Makes sense she would be very emotional at finally finding someone with the same power that must be hellish.

 

Chapter 12 was good. So due to Keiji killing the Mimic Server during his first battle, he was the one to become caught in the time loop, and Rita killed it from the 2nd to 158th loop, which explains why he wasn't broken out.

Rita killed the backups and Keiji took out the antenna and seemed to be about to kill the server and get out of the time loop, only to somehow fail and loop back..? Wonder what happened.

 

Chapter 13 was good. This time Keiji and Rita interacted, but in front of everyone which was an odd choice. It's a bit jarring going back to their first meeting. Rita is glad to not be the one stuck in the loop for a change. Well, the both seem kind of very out of character here eating the pickled plums lol, but I guess they are just trying to have a non-serious moment. The tine spent with Rita solidified Keiji's resolve to try and get through the loop.

 

Chapter 14 was good. So Keiji and Rita fell asleep in the Sky Lounge and seems like it's the first good sleep he's had in a long time. Years. Interesting Keiji has never had freshly ground coffee beans coffee lol. In exchange for the coffee, Keiji offered her Green Tea once the war is over lol.

The mimics have decided to directly attack the base. I find it strange it seems like it's the first time they've ever tried this. Rita sent Shasta to her room, and asked her to not let anyone in until they return.
