The truth is, we have no hope. For every single person that won't support a malicious, terrible product/service that is basically just a scam, there are 10,000 that will gladly eat it up. This is why everything keeps getting worse. You and I simply don't have a choice, and never did. Don't like streaming services? There's soon to be no other choice, they can't wait to get rid of physical media production. Don't want to use upscalers/framegen in games? You almost don't have a choice now, because every single retard has bought into the narrative that it's "better than native" even when somehow every single time they release a new version, they release many images of all of the issues the prior version is fixing. Funny that. People will say it's better than native, or perfect, but the exact same retards will praise all of the improvements every new release. The improvements have already plateaued too, because now you basically aren't getting an improvement, because it costs more performance for the improvements. So it's not even an apples to apples comparison anymore. Plus, devs literally dev with this slop as the baseline. I could go on about everything else ad nauseum.
