    Rangiku seems like a lazy and useless drunk, but she's almost as capable as Hisagi when she puts her mind to it. If she actually got off her thick ass and trained as hard as Renji, Hisagi, and Toshiro do, she'd be even better than she is currently.

    The anime tones it down significantly. I don't know if you have read the manga, but they actually slice off and merge their arms rather brutally.

    I love how the two most laid back powerhouses of their respective factions are up against each other.

    In another universe, Starrk lives and becomes Kyoraku's drinking buddy :sir

    PS:
    Kyoraku forever cursed to go up against gun wielders. This is just the first of three.

    Aizen absolutely does not have a soft spot for her (or anyone, for that matter, other than Tosen). He's just wondering "how can I fukk with her today?"

    I think I only read TYBW manga but even that I only remembered bits of.

    Yeah, that match ups are all pretty solid, for the most part.

    225 was good. RIP Rangiku got taken out instantly. Momo tried to heal her only to also be taken out like instantly. Izuru and Hisagi appeared and the plan was for Hisagi to keep it busy while Izuru healed both Momo and Rangiku before returning to help, and it went well at first, until Hisagi was also taken out. Tetsuzaimon tried to help Hisagi while he was being squeezed only to be taken out. I expected Ikkaku to appear and Bankai, only for it to be Yamamoto saving their asses. He's very disappointed at them. xD

    You should see how brutal her injuries were in the manga. Ayon took out a good chunk of her torso; we also see a ripped out rib and some of her intestines.

    In the manga, I believe Ayon ripped out a couple of her bottom right ribs, a portion of her diaphragm, her liver entirely, and a portion of her intestines.


    Shinigami endurance is insane. One of the Espada even outright talks about this.

    225 was good. Ukitake was like "know your place trash" xD Rangiku noooooo! Poor Mommy and Momo got taken down by the Chimera. I thought the girls fused to form him, turns out it was a different being xD Hisagi and Izuru came to help the girls, then Big Yama showed up and disciplined the beast xD

    226 was great. Papa Yama straight up burnt the beast and the 3 girls into a crisp. Shunsui is disappointed he's fighting #1 xD I don't think Soifon can take on #3. Might need some help. Looks like it's just the 3 Espadas in Karakura town and UQ with Ichigo now. Final battle soon.

    226 was good. Yamamoto just completely bodied Ayon and then Apacci, Mila Rose and Sung-Sun. xD Harribel is number 3, Barragan is number 2 and Starrk number 1, and seems like they're possibly going to release their full power now. Ichigo and Ulquiorra continue to clash.

    He really cleaned house with no effort. xD Soifon is fighting #2 I assume that's a typo though, but yeah, seems rough.
